Words of Wisdom to Sellers


The most important decision you will make in the sale of your home is the REALTOR you choose. Some points to consider:

Find someone with whom you feel comfortable. If you don’t feel you can go to your Realtor with questions, you may have the wrong one.

Your Realtor should show you research to back up any recommendations. This includes information about recent sales, current listings and recent expired listings in your neighborhood.

Choose a local Realtor. He or she will know your area better than an outsider and will be seen as a source for people looking to relocate in your neighborhood.

Buyers Beware!?!

Remember these points when you are looking for a REALTOR to help you purchase a home:

It typically does not cost you anything to have a Professional REALTOR assist you. Sellers usually pay the commissions.

It pays to have someone "on your side" that can negotiate on your behalf.

Ask for a buyers Market Analysis -- this tool will give you a lot of sales data on the area you are interested in.

Most importantly, you and your REALTOR should be "on the same sheet of music". Ask questions!!
